Did you know there are less and less pen stores in the Bay Area every year? That's why I decided to put my studio in my home, less overhead, more pens and in a beautiful location that makes you feel right at home.
Penopoly's studio is by appointment only, and I like that a lot because it allows customers access to the full studio and the time to test their favorite pens without interruptions. "If you don't try it, you shouldn't buy it." Exceptions to this rule are mint, high end collector pens. On special occasions we have offered our pen clients surprise birthday parties, Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, wine, and soft drinks along with desserts to heighten the shopping experience.
We are not your typical mall store. We take great pride in the whole pen experience from your arrival to departure. Penopoly is to be experienced like a fine cigar or glass of wine... slowly and effortlessly, not rushed or prodded to hurry. I often say, "Pens are cheaper than therapy" and our clients agree.
